Small Group Personal Training offers the best of both worlds! In this dynamic setting, you’ll work alongside a small group of like-minded individuals (4–8 people), each progressing toward their own fitness goals under the guidance of a certified personal trainer - Marlene Walker. Marlene’s philosophy centers on harmonizing physical fitness, stress reduction, and relaxation to nurture the mind-body-spirit connection and support overall well-being. With a foundation of 40+ years of experience as a nurse practitioner, teacher of physical fitness, yoga, and personal training, Marlene has dedicated her career to empowering others to achieve healthier lifestyles. Credentials • IFTA Certified Personal Trainer • E-RYT 500 Hour YACEP • Y/ACE Foundations of Strength and Conditioning Certified • Registered Nurse Practitioner, specializing in Anesthesia (Retired) • Vinyasa Yoga - Better Way To Flow, Preventing and Managing Common Injuries • Injury Prevention and Management: Expert guidance for safe and sustainable physical practice. • Yoga Biomechanics and Asana: Advanced understanding of alignment, anatomy, and functionality. • Strength Training in Yoga: Combining traditional strength-building techniques with yoga principles. • Self-Myofascial Release: Techniques to relieve tension, enhance recovery, and improve mobility.
